We are very excited to announce that our Years 5 and 6 will hold their Mini-Fete this term on Wednesday, 20th November. The Mini-Fete will begin at the end of recess. This will be a great day for all students to celebrate a successful school year and raise money for the Year 6 Farewell. As we are keen to foster independence in our younger students as well as the leadership skills of our older students, this is a student only event. The Year 5 and 6 students will run many exciting games and activities, including: novelty games, hair spray, face painting, a maze, a disco and much, much more … Cost Each activity will cost a certain amount of Wyoming Dollars. By using Wyoming dollars, we eliminate the problems involved with losing money, giving change etc. Wyoming Dollars must be purchased BEFORE the day of the Mini-Fete. The last day for Wyoming dollars to be purchased will be Friday 15th November. $1.00 will equal 5 Wyoming Dollars. Wyoming Dollars To purchase Wyoming Dollars, place your money in an envelope with your child’s name and class on it. The envelope will need to be placed in the Mini-fete box that will be at the front office from Monday 28th October. Class teachers will hand out Wyoming Dollars on the day of the Mini-Fete. Please note: If you have more than one student attending Wyoming Public School, please put Wyoming dollars money is separate envelopes – one for each child. WYOMING DOLLARS MUST BE PAID BY CASH AND NOT THROUGH THE SENTRAL FINANCE PORTAL
