Term 2 2021

Term 2 is already shaping up to be very busy. We are learning about forces in our science unit and are looking forward to the Jolly Bops science show in week 8. In history we are studying the unit Different Families and discussing where names come from and how families can come from different parts of the world.

In maths we are busy learning about adding and subtracting and multiplying and dividing groups of items. Later in the term we will explore fractions, mass, position, 3D space and data. Wow we do a lot at school.

In our week 8 assembly Kindergarten will be performing a song for all of the year 1 and 2 students and any parents who are able to attend, we hope to see you there.

Here is a short video of one of our favourite songs in maths time…

We also learnt about ANZAC Day and were very respectful when we listened to the school’s ANZAC Day service over the loudspeaker. We showed our respect to all of those that have given so much for us to live in this safe country.
