Welcome to KO's Class Page

Semester 1 has flown by so quickly, I can’t believe your children are halfway through their kindergarten year. After all the runny noses, coughs, colds, flu and Covid 19 causing so many days off school we are hitting the ground running this term to make up lost time. It was so lovely to see how happy KO students were to be back at school on their first day of Term 3.

Here are some photos of us hard at work in Semester 1…

In Term 3 we will be learning about living things in our science unit. In our geography unit, People Live in Places, students will investigate the places they live in and belong to, how places vary and observe and describe features of their own place.

In maths we are busy learning about adding and subtracting and multiplying and dividing groups of items. Later in the term we will explore volume, position and 2 dimensional shapes.

Whilst we understand that family life can be extremely busy please remember home reading and sight word practice is the best way for you to support your child’s learning at school.

I’m looking forward to a productive and fun term 3 with your beautiful children.
