Welcome Back 1S!
We have many exciting learning activities and experiences planned for this term.
Each day we engage in English and Maths activities. Our focus continues to be on oral language skills, early reading and writing skills and early mathematical knowledge and skills.
Our History unit is ‘Past and Present Family Life’. We have begun this unit by discussing the difference between the past, the present and the future.
During Physical Education lessons, 1S will continue to practice fundamental movement skills such as throwing, kicking and striking.
We have already competed in the Cross Country Carnival. It was such a great day. This term, our whole school will also be participating in a public speaking competition.

Please continue to read every night. This term students who read for 40 nights or more will receive a McDonalds slushie and the chance to win many great prizes such as a family pass to the Reptile Park or Bunning vouchers.
